Each patient we care for here at the Green Lane Dental Implant Centre, begins their journey with a free consultation. This is where we take time to confidentially discuss all individual requirements and concerns as well as assess patient suitability for dental implants. Time is provided for any questions and to discuss treatment options, a break down of fees and finance options.
Our policy is to provide open, unbiased advice at all times and to ensure our patients are fully comfortable and confident in each stage of treatment before we begin.
After discussing treatment options, a breakdown of fees and finance options , we will assess the feasibility of providing implant treatment during a thorough dental examination.
Implants are placed under Conscious Sedation. If, after assessment, the underlying jawbone is judged to be deficient, a number of options are made available for bone regeneration.
With some dental implants and upon the Implant placement, the patient will have healed sufficiently within days after surgery. In most cases however it is often suggested that a period of three months or more be allowed for the implant to fully integrate and heal.
Once integrated (or healed), the dental implants will be uncovered and a variety or restorations (Crowns, Bridges, Removable Denture) will be considered.
Following the completion of dental implant treatment, patients need to clean thoroughly around the implants. They should attend their dentist surgery for regular reviews, so that the health of the soft tissue, bone levels and the integrity of the restoration can be checked.
